Requirements

• Degree in law from a reputable Ukrainian university, with admission to the Ukrainian bar (a Western LL.M. is considered an advantage)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cross-border disputes, encompassing either cross-border litigation, or international arbitration
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian
• Strong analytical abilities and exceptional technical and drafting skills
• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, reliability, proactiveness, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as ability to deliver under pressure and against tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to clients on diverse projects with a primary focus on cross-border disputes, encompassing both litigation and international arbitration
• Act as a representative for clients in international arbitration cases (both in Ukraine and abroad) and actively participate in Ukrainian court proceedings
• Skillfully draft and review various legal documents essential to the practice
• Conduct legal research on a variety of topics and analyze court practice to stay abreast of developments
• Engage in direct communication with clients, both locally and internationally, ensuring effective and transparent collaboration
• Participate in due diligence processes, external negotiations, client meetings, and engage with government authorities, including communication during raids and inspections
• Efficiently manage projects, track timelines, and deliver work products to the client under the Partner’s supervision
• Manage the project team and provide supervision, training & mentoring to junior grade lawyers in the team
