Olena Perepelynska, partner and head of International Arbitration at INTEGRITES, was appointed as board member of the Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA). Its launch took place at the Kazakhstan Legal Forum in September 2023.
The association will be led by 12 board members from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Ukraine. Together with the fellow board members, Olena Perepelynska will perform duties in her new role during 2024-2025.
The TAA aims to facilitate collaboration among arbitration professionals and businesses in Turkic countries by promoting arbitration and providing a platform for the regional arbitration community. The TAA is also committed to promoting and integrating skilled and diverse arbitration lawyers from the region into the global arbitration market.
Olena Perepelynska: “By joining the board of the Turkic Arbitration Association, I take on a new professional challenge, as my track record in this realm already encompasses the positions of a founding member and a board member in the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the ArbCEE. I am excited to be able to contribute my knowledge and vast experience in these associations for the benefit of the arbitration practitioners in the Turkic region. Further strengthening the peer network and ties within it across the globe, expanding opportunities for more arbitration lawyers from the underrepresented regions is a thrilling goal to pursue.”
