INTEGRITES becomes the only Ukrainian member of the London International Disputes Week 2021

INTEGRITES is the only law firm from Ukraine and the FSU region to become the member of the London International Disputes Week 2021*, one of the largest global forums in the field of dispute resolution. The virtual event with the theme ‘Looking forward: change, challenge and opportunity’ will take place on May 10-14, 2021 and encompass 16 sessions delivered by leading experts in their fields. This year the agenda spans the range of topics, among which the rise of group actions, the role of technology, the rule of law, climate change, social responsibility, and ethics.

Partner and Head of Cross-Border Litigation at INTEGRITES Dmytro Marchukov will participate in the panel discussion “Interplay between onshore / offshore disputes — enforcement actions and asset-tracing in multi-jurisdiction disputes (London, CIS, BVI and Cyprus)”. The panellists will disentangle a complex web of companies, bank accounts, and property located in various jurisdictions (including the BVI, Cyprus, the CIS and the UK), which have been the subject of fraud. They will look at what the issues are and what can be done to maximise recoveries.

Apart from INTEGRITES, hosts of the discussion are Begbies Traynor, the UK-based insolvency and restructuring firm; SouthSquare, a leading set of commercial law barristers; and Walkers, the international law firm advising specifically on the laws of Bermuda, BVI, Caymans, Ireland and Channel Islands.

Dmytro Marchukov: “The membership of INTEGRITES in LIDW21 is the natural extension of what we do on a daily basis. Although for quite some time already we are not able to travel to London physically due to pandemic reasons, still over 50% of our workload is London-centered or, at least, London-connected. For the firm’s Cross-Border Dispute Resolution team it may well be over 80%. Whatever happens globally, London remains the place where lots of large and complex litigations, arbitrations and investigations are being taken care of. We work regularly with many law firms with offices in London and are happy to join them this year as the members of LIDW”.
