INTEGRITES participated in Energy Week Black Sea 2024

Dr. Oleksiy Feliv, managing partner of INTEGRITES, moderated the panel discussion Green Marshall Plan for Ukraine and green reconstruction of Ukraine which took place during Energy Week Black Sea 2024 on February 6 in Bucharest (Romania).

The speakers in the panel were Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yaroslav Demchenkov, Dr Dirk Buschle (Deputy Director, Energy Community), Mykhaylo Chulkov (CEO, Eurocape New Energy), Olga Kovalchuk (Head of Finance and Investment, GOLDBECK SOLAR GmbH), Nataliia Shavrina (Vice-President, Global Capital Finance GmbH & Co), Bart Dujczynski (founder, Proventus Renewables Ltd.).

Upon the invitation from the organisers, Dr. Feliv also became the host of a specialized Ukrainian networking table which has attracted the largest number of the conference visitors.

Energy Week Black Sea 2024 brought together representatives of the authorities and energy market actors from the countries of the Black Sea region - Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Turkey, as well as international financial institutions, large international investors, EPC and consulting companies.

Traditionally, the goal of the annual event is to facilitate the dialogue between the energy sector stakeholders, to promote the development of renewable energy in the region and to attract foreign direct investment.

Dr. Oleksiy Feliv about participation in the conference: "The Ukrainian panel helped to generate a number of ideas and suggestions, the implementation of which will contribute to the structural improvement of legislation in the field of RES. One of the key issues is the lack of corporate PPA off-takers. The industry community should combine efforts and develop effective solutions that can be addressed to the Ukrainian government. This is my main conclusion and task for the next months.
